Life My Spouse I met my wife at college. A friend arranged a blind date, even though I had seen her and liked the way she looked. Within two weeks, I asked her to marry me. It took her awhile to say yes. But, she did. We were married about a year and a half later, and have been married ever since (47 years!). She was a public school teacher for over 38 years. I was cabinet maker, a salesman, a baker, a youth director and a high school math for 20 years. We retired June 2011. My Pets We have rescued feral cats since the 1980s. At the present time we are feeding 7 cats. We have had as many as 18 cats. We have spent thousands of dollars on food and vet bills, but it is our passion. We are strong advocates for capture, spay or neuter, and release of feral cats. We believe this is the most effective way to reduce feral cat populations and improve the overall health of feral cat populations. We have added a red heeler named Roscoe, and a rose eared pit named Mollie. both strays that showed up hungry. My Kids We managed to raise two lovely daughters. One is currently working in the Dallas area, is married and has given us a grandson named Connor.
