Amanda's Story
Life
Aren't these things bizarre? Like, if you lost track of me after graduation, do you REALLY care to know about me now? I wonder..but I digress & give into temptation. I went to East Vinton Elem, Wm Byrd Jr., transferred to Andrew Lewis Jr. & grad'd from Salem. I married right out of HS & became a mom a yr or so later to a beautiful daughter Emily. Marriage is not for the weak, & weak I was. I was divorced & remarried by the age of 23. I now have another beautiful child Sarah and my children are my life.My husband is a great guy & a great dad to both of my children. I've changed a great deal in my life, for the better I believe. Tremendous changes since graduation in my opinion. The only thing that is the same about me is I'm still late to everything. I would be late to cash in the million dollar lotto ticket.

rets...
I regret not going to college. I regret not going out with Johnny Meadows since he asked me for a date for 3 years straight but I always declined. I regret ending my friendship with Scott Johnston and losing him. I regret not finding out why Leslie Huffman ended our friendship, to this day I have no idea why. I regret losing touch with Sandra Law. I regret not answering my phone when Austin Peery called me, not long before his suicide. I regret not being more friendly, for being a snob at times & for not applying myself more in class. And for those who were just total jackasses to me, I'm sure you've gotten what you deserved, for what comes around, goes around. And nothing goes un-noticed, good or bad.
For those who were my friends, I hope life has given to you everything you dreamt of and more.
Much love,
Amanda
