More about Amanda:"Hello! I'm an easy going person. When around me just be yourself because that is what I'm going to do...be myself. You can take me as I am or leave me alone. I'm currently enrolled in school with Paralegal/Legal Administration as my major; my goal is in 10 years to be a judge in the federal court system. I love to laugh and have a good time. I am a true friend...I keep secrets, I will cry with you, and I will fight for you but I have to know you will do the same for me. Life is too short to walk around with a chip on your shoulder, so smile, laugh, and let go. I enjoy hanging out with the ladies from time to time, go to a couple of clubs and do adult things as the classy ladies we are. We all need some time to get away and do something for ourselves. I enjoy spending time with my family; they are the most important people in my life. But at times I love to curl up on my couch with the remote or a good book with a nice glass of wine and relax. Right now I'm not out looking for a relationship or a “man”; I'm just doing me right now, the next man in my life with have to earn the right to know me. I command respect by the way I carry myself, I'm done with games and not interested in playing any games at all, games are for children. I am a woman with standards and expectations for the man I share my life with, if you don'...Expand for more
t have standards and expectations then that's asking for problems. You can't get mad and upset if someone does something that goes against your standards and expectations if you don't make them known. By the way I have served in the United States Army, so I consider myself pretty disciplined and responsible, so I don't think that would be too much to ask of the man I share my time and life with. In a sense you can say I'm old fashion when it comes to men/dating, I want the man to pursue me, show me that he is really interested, nothing comes easy with me, he has to show me what he is made of, I want to see what he is willing to do. I don't believe in bringing baggage from past relationships into something new, you can't drive forward always looking in the rearview mirror. As Steve Harvey says, a man who truly loves and cares about his woman will do 3 things: profess, protect, and provide (I got my own, but I want a man who steps up as a man and provides for his woman and family). * There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go. * Exclude those who won't, include those who will. * Don't make life just about surviving every day, make it about enjoying life and every day is a blessed gift from God. --Amanda Jones * Stop treating the bad people right and the good people wrong. --Frankie * Pamper yourself! Be good to you! If you want to be treated correctly you must treat yourself correctly. The way you treat yourself tells other people how to treat you. --Rev. Run * Someone talking about someone else usually in an unflattering light because they have no business of their own to talk about. The funny thing is that the only people that ever know what is going on in any situation are the people involved. * Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.".
