Amanda's Story
Life
In Duluth doing computer graphics & audio for a local TV station. Plan on moving out west to Washington next summer. I plan to explore the depths of the film industry. I want to do sound effects for film. No pets. No kids. I'm really into painting and lots of other art forms.
School

Biggest Crush?? Honestly I don't really remember. Probably because crushes suck. Plus, I wouldn't want to give anyone a big head about it now way after the fact.
There were good things about High School, but overall I though high school was pretty rough. Teenage politics suck! You go through so many changes and are judged for everything. We're judged our entire lives, but in high school the magnifying glass is tripled in strength. Not having to pay rent was cool though!
College

At UWS one of my friends and I would stay up super late. One night we were walking down the hall and we heard this LOUD buzzing noise coming from this one girl's room (she had a single room)! I swear it was a battery operated buddy, and I'm not talkin' electric toothbrush!
Once I walked into the tv room in the all girls dorm that I lived in and there was this couple dry humping like nobody's business on the delapidated sofa. They were more mortified than I was. that was a stupid place to think you could get away with dry humping.
That's enough for college stories.
Workplace
I work at a tv station in Duluth. I mainly do computer graphics for the news. My formal title is production technician. I do other things, like run audio and set up audio board and run cables all over to different microphones. I also run cameras, floor direct, some lighting, and teleprompting (not to be confused with teleporting).
