Amparo's Story
I'm from Bolivia (South America), I was a Senior exchange student at Robert E Lee High School in 1968 sponsored by Rotary Club.
Among my various activities I had the opportunity to visit diferent cities and interest places in Texas and the United States, and also participated in some class activities that gave me de opportunity to know dear friends and companions.
After, I continued my proffesional studies at La Sorbone in Rudy Soriano and had three children. Unfortunately we lost with Leukemia our older son Rudy (31) five years ago. Today I have a beautiful grandson Carlos Ernesto (9 months old) through ...Expand for more
my second son Carlos Alberto and are expecting a second grandson through my daughter Cynthia for this coming February.
Through my husbands work we had the opportunity to travel a lot mainly in the U.S. and South America and during one of those stays had the chance to preside the Rotary Club in La Paz, Bolivia. Right now we are stationed in Peru before settling down, but commuting a lot between Chile, where my son lives with his family, the U.S. where my daugther lives with her family and Peru.
Hope to visit Tyler again some day and see some friends and regain contact through classmates.com with many others.
