Amy's Story

Life I moved to Colorado in June of 07. It is so beautiful here. I get to wake up to mountains! I am in paradise and now realize just how much I hated living in Ohio. I never felt like I belonged there. I've made a lot of huge changes in my life that were scary. But I've made it through and I've never been happier. I am married to the most wonderful man ever. Finally someone understands me! I am a lucky woman. My children Zachary is now 19! He has grown into a wonderful young man, and I couldn't be more proud of the person he has grown up to be. I really enjoy the now rare times of sitting together and talking with him. He amazes me with his humor and kindness. Emily is 14 now. She was in track this year (2011). I am very proud of her determination, she may not have been the best. But she tried her hardest and walks with pride on what she has accomplished. And she had fun! I'...Expand for more
m so proud of that child! And then there is my Bailey. My evil little Mini Me. She is 11 and has the don't mess with me attitude. She can be your best friend, help you when you need anything. She has a big caring heart. But she also won't put up with anyone's crap. She will call a spade a spade and I love that about her. She has a huge love of any kind of animal. I hope she turns that into a career that she will love some day. I am very proud to be the mother of these 3 children. I hear horror stories from other mothers almost on a weekly basis and I thank God that my children don't do the things I hear about. I'm not dumb, I know a time will come when one or all of them will do something I won't be terribly proud of, but for now I feel blessed for having such wonderful children.
