Amy's Story
Life
After York High I went off to Ithaca College in central New York where I studied communications. After college I moved to Boston and pursued work in the documentary film field. After a couple of years I moved to NYC. While there I work and lived in Manhattan, then went off to culinary school in the Hudson River Valley. I worked at a PR firm in Portsmouth and then got a job a Strawbery Banke Museum as an event planner. In 2004 I took a job with the International Association of Privacy Professionals in of all places--York, Maine. I currently live in Amesbury, MA with my wonderful husband Jonathan Sherwood (whom I met online) and I commute north to York each day to plan educational conferences and special events.
