Amy's Story
Life
After high school I went to Snead State Community College where I studied music. I was a part of the Snead State College Street Singers form '96 to '98. I was in two stage productions at Snead. I played several chorus roles in the '97 production of "Annie." I played one of the lead roles, Sarah Brown, in the '98 production of "Guys and Dolls."
After Snead, I went to Jacksonville State University where I was awarded a scholarship with the A Cappella choir. I also became a member of the Chamber Singers. I attended JSU until the fall of '99 when I took some time off to have my first child, Timothy. I ret...Expand for more
urned in 2002 to finish up my music degree. While attending, I met my husband, Don. We married in 2005, and now have a child together, Paul. I plan to finish up at JSU when Paul gets a bit older. I only have a few hours to take before I have my music degree.
I have already been teaching voice lessons for several years. I taught for some time at Strut USA Performing Arts Studio before I married. Over the past couple of years I have been developing my own studio, and hope to expand in the next few years to a larger facility. Currently I am a stay-at-home Mom, but I am keeping busy by working on my first book.
