Life
well, after 15 years in reno & san jose, it is time to check out some new places. i just finished with my masters degree in cultural anthropology. thinking about a doctorate...not sure yet. just finished 6 months traveling & living overseas. i did some research in africa (zimbabwe, zambia, botswana & south africa) for most of that time and then ended my adventures with 3 weeks in europe visiting friends. i found my new life's passion in africa & community development in 3rd world nations.
am finally closest to "settling down" i have been...Expand for more
for awhile. i just need to figure out where that is. i more so want to make a home base & still having my adventures from there. any ideas would be great or some job that makes me lots of money but gives me plenty of time to travel.
a new development...am pregnant & am about to have a baby anyday now. extremely happy with baby & boyfriend, yet anxious at the same time. i think the boyfriend makes me more nervous than the baby =) i guess that just adds to my "settling down" but i hope that i still feel like i can live "outside of the box."
