Amy's Story

After high school, spent 3 years at OSU-ATI, milking cows and riding horses, came home, went to nursing school, became an LPN..worked at Kaiser, met my husband at a wedding, got married in 1986. Started having kids in 1987, started RN school in 1994. Went to work at Southwest General in 1997, nightshift every other weekend. Started picking...Expand for more
up days in outpatient chemo in 1998..now I work half-time in the Ireland cancer center at Southwest General, administering chemotherapy...My four children are all grown and fine people..I have two dogs,,2 rats and a horse named Ralph... I am no longer the nerd I was in high school and all of you who laughed at me then would be sorry now...
