Amy's Story
Life
Was married for 25 years and recently divorced...my choice...
Have 2 daughters ages 19...20 in Jan. 2005 and one 22.
Have two stepdaughters ages 34 and 30......who love me as
a real Mom and I've always loved them and their kids call
me Gammaw......my kids and steps are all blondies and
beautiful!
Lived in Corpus Christi from 1979 to Jan 2005 and just moved
back to San Antonio, Tx. Had Lasik eye surgery in 10/2004----that's WONDERFUL and can't be said ENOUGH for those considering it!
School
I never dated the guys at Lee ....just always had a boyfriend out of the school for some reason. Memorable teachers would
HAVE TO BE: Was it Freshman or Sophomore Science...Mr. Lozano...then Senior English....Mr. D....and I always cut
his class every Friday to have a long lunch....lol...and
I never got called on that.....don't know who it was
that bailed me out....but I sure appreciated it! (English was
my easiest subject so missing that one day didn't hurt me at all) Now, of course, I'm just opposite of that skip class...Expand for more
behavior...I take work seriously and put alot of effort into doing a great job.
College
Went to San Antonio College for Assoc Degree of Applied
Science, otherwise known as Radio-TV-Film. Moved to
Corpus Christi, Tx in 1978 and about 1989 went to
Del Mar College there and took medical courses, EKG, etc.
Moved back to San Antonio in May. 2005 and hope to find a great job and maybe resume college in the evenings to become an LVN or RN..take some business courses.....you're NEVER too old to learn or IMPROVE upon yourself!
Workplace
In 1973 worked at Reeves & Reeves Advertising while I went
to S.A.C. for Radio-TV-film......Started at Frost Brothers in Jr Dept in 1977 til March, 1979. Then moved to Corpus and worked for a plumber for two yrs. Then worked at Joskes from 1981 to 1987...then started working in Aug. 1987 for Internal Medicine Associates where I quit Jan. 2005...(over 17 yrs) Got 3 of the best letters of reference a person could possibly get from the Drs I work for....they're a great bunch I have to say.
