Amy's Story

Life Hard to believe it's been 20 years since high school...time flies. Life is good here in Hawaii; plenty of sun and surf. My family and I are here with the Navy and are enjoying it very much. We've lived on Guam, in Rhode Island, Washington DC and Washington state. I guess you could say I've been around. My son KC will be 16 in Feb. and is now a sophomore. Just got his learner's permit...YIKES! He's a band geek just like his dad and I, but much cooler and better looking than either of us. Stephanie is 14 and a freshman. She loves horses and writing and wishes we were still in Washington....Expand for more
Oh yea, she's good looking too. My husband Ken is the director of the Navy's Pacific Fleet Band and a marathon runner. Since music education turned out not to be my thing, I decided to go to nursing school when my kids went to elementary school and am now a registered nurse working in intensive care. Critical care is really my thing. I'm hoping to return to school in Fall of 2005 for my Master's degree because I wanna be a Clinical Nurse Specialist when I grow up. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. And why is it that every time we have a reunion I live on a tropical island?
