Amy's Story

Life Graduated,attended Richland Community College for a few years while working. Recieved Associates Degree-Legal Secretary. Worked in mediation/arbitration and legal field from '89-'97. Met my husband in '96 on a camping trip in North Carolina with a girlfriend that knew both of us and introduced us to each other by phone. We married in '97 and I relocated to Cherry Point, North Carolina where he was stationed in the USMC. Our first son was born October 1998. Moved back to Texas November 1998 while my husband served in Turkey for 6 months. He served 12 years with the USMC and got out July 1999 and came to Texas. 0 and sold it in 2006 during which time I continued to work, my husband served in Iraq during 2003, our second son was born December 2003. We now live in Virginia, I'm a stay at home mother with a 17 year old girl (stepdaughter), Aunna; 8 year old son, Bergin; 3 year old son, Gunner, while my husband serves in the Army Guard of Virginia. Fast forward, Bergin is 18 and graduating from Bridge Creek High School in May 2017 and plans to join the Marine Corps. Gunner is 13 and in 7th grade. We now live in Bridge Creek/Tuttle, Oklahoma. I'm the Accounts Payable Administrator for the City of Tuttle. Stepdaughters are grown and we have 2 grandkids.
