Anastasia's Story
Life
As well as attending Julia Richman as a student, I was in TU Chorus & All-City Chorus and Concert Choir. After Richman, I got my undergrad degree at SUNY and Master's at NYU. I did some postgrad at Harvard & New England Conservatory, but missed NY too much and came home.
I'm still singing a great deal today (have my own...Expand for more
jazz group and work with several others) and have performed all over the US and a bit in Western Europe, Russia and Israel! I was also working with Vince Welnick of the Grateful Dead as a back up singer until his unfortunate passing in 2006 and am on several CDs of local and regional bands.
I hope to put out my own CD soon.
