Frank's Story
I went from Steinmetz to the Army, to working my way through college. Graduated from the U of I Chicago Circle in '68. Then spent 27 years working for the government, 13 were overseas in Lebanon, Libya, Yemen, back to Lebanon for the Civil War, and Morocco. I also spent a couple of years working on Afghanistan during the late 1980's (with mentions in a couple of best selling books, "Charlie Wilson's War...Expand for more
" and "Ghost Wars" by Steve Coll.) I spent most of the past 15 years as a consultant on the Middle East. I was president of the Middle East Policy Council, a small non-profit "think tank" from 2009-2012. I now live in Sarasota, Florida with my wife, Donna. We have four kids, 11 grandkids and four great grandchildren spread from Maryland, New York City, the Chicago area, Colorado, and Utah to Singapore.
