Janet's Story

Readers Digest Version..... I moved to South Carolina in January of my senior year. (Parents got transferred). Met my 1st husband (John) in SC where he was attending school. He was from New Jersey. Married, moved to Jersey. Had 3 boys. Studying to be a nurse (I wanted to be a nurse-midwife) Then my husband passed away. (I was 32 at the time). Had to stop school. 2 years ...Expand for more
later, I remarried (I have been blessed TWICE!) a wonderful man (Frank) who had 2 children (and custody) so we became a regular Brady Bunch! Children are all grown and out of the house. Oldest is 27!! I can't believe I have a 27 year old!! But it is true. Still live in jersey. Love it here (except I am starting to hate winters). Very happily married! Very proud of my kids!
