Workplace After college, I started off as a journalist, working for a small paper before I got my break at the Orange County Register. Alas, it was not the job of my dreams; neither was my job as an editor for the Los Angeles Times in downtown L.A. dustry. As it turns out, I was a fledgling fool and learned that I was pretty darn arrogant but I quicklyto more humble since then, however, at my job as a junior high history and yearbook teacher. This is my 25th year and I'm happy as can be. I live with my boyfriend of 22 years and our two large, destructive but incredibly sweet dogs. I'm a lucky woman.

This week was my 60th birthday. This was taken on my 4th birthday. We were living in Pico Rivera. We moved to Anaheim two months later.
