Andrea's Story
I moved to Arizona after graduating from the University of Minnesota. I taught Physical Education and moved into the classroom where I taught grades 6,5,1 and 2. I received my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and became an assistant principal for two years. I have been a principal in both Scottsdale and Mesa. I am currently a principal in Mesa and am opening the first Montessori school for Mesa Public Schools! A great adventure this 202...Expand for more
3-24 school year! I have been a principal for the last 19 years and am on my 38th year in education! I also am an adjunct professor at ASU teaching undergraduate classes. I have been married to Ken for 32 years. He was also a principal in Mesa at a Jr. High. He retired and now works for ASU with the athletic program. We have two boys; Theo is an E. R. nurse and works for Honor Health and Taite who is working in Maryland and is an Engineer..
