Andrea's Story

Life Hi! I was always a late bloomer and didn't marry until '95. 12 years this July 15! I had to marry a Southern Californian to actually LIVE in Milwaukie (originally, close to the Bomber; now, live in Oak Grove) and run in to high school classmates and teachers. Funny! Lived in West Moreland before and never saw a soul....I have twin step-children that just graduated from Putnam (boo!). (One is headed to PSU, the other to the Marines.) Life has been good, for the most part. God has been excellent. In all truthfulness, until I quit running and 'came back' at 30 (to God), my life would probably still be in a shambles. I've been blessed exceedingly beyond any expectation since then. Worked 21 years in the timber industry, accounting. Five years for the Salvation Army's Divisional HQ, accounting. Three other smaller jobs. No children of my 'own'. I quit work 6 months ago from...Expand for more
Adrenal Fatigue. MAJOR change of everything for me: physical, emotional, spiritual health, kids' graduation, downsizing & moving (as I type!), career counseling in near future with a focus on part-time work. I have a prison ministry and believe God wants me to 'stretch' from visiting 1 friend weekly to bringing a 'Change/Recovery' group in for 10-12 women. Current visitation status prohibits this additional activity, so, we'll see..... :0) Would like to go to a reunion if it gets planned and say 'hi' to you. Feb 2 08 I'll be mentoring an ex-inmate and I'm thrilled for the opportunity of it! Still hoping to get that Genesis Change/Recovery Group for woment into a county jail...Life is moving my way, slowly. Me changing first. Then, the opportunities. God is so good!
