Andrea's Story
Life
In March, we adopted a little boy from Guatemala. He's now 18 months old and into everything! I quit my job to stay home with him for a year or so, which is more challenging than I ever dreamed it would be. I am learning about how to be patient (a foreign concept for me!). Our two dogs are also having to learn how to be patient, as he has a tendency to terrorize them.
School
What can I say about high school? Oh yes, four years ...Expand for more
of hell! So glad that is in the past. It makes me happy to see that we brains/geeks/etc. are successful now!
College
B.A. in Communications Studies from Penn State (which is where I met my husband!). Went to class occasionally between parties. Then an associate degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. That was three years with no sleep! (And somewhere in between I got a paralegal certificate from Widener.)
