Obtained education in Criminal Justice. Met a nice guy, July 12, 1986. Married guy, 1987. Fast forward 2013, married to same nice guy. As an old lady, I pursue non-violent political expression. Collecting colorful metaphoric data: "Racism: Blind Insanity in America". The Verdict for Treyvon Martin: his parents will choke on tears as they experience loss once again. Loss of their son, Killed while in possession of "no weapon" not in violation of a crime, not the aggressor, in fact in possession of a bag of Skittles and a can of iced tea. Loss of dignity, denied justice, while America suffering loss of self-esteem, due to the second term of a Black President. After all Blacks do make up the majority in Congress and the composition of Wall Street, and thus are at fault for the economic crisis which allowed President N-Word to ascend to office right? And...we should focus on correcting our past mistakes, and improving our image yes? No. Our focus will be to hold America at gunpoint economically, pound our chests and assert our advantaged Racism. Ah, but I digress... After all the flurry regarding the OJ Simpson verdict we reflect on the murder of Oscar Grant, by a Policeman, while in handcuffs and face down on the BART Platform, in Oakland, CA; the officer that shot him while he was in this position served 11 months. We come to Victor Chen....beaten with a baseball bat, a police officer having witnessed most of the crime. We could go back through history and review the verdict of many other trials in America...senseless violence, causing the deaths of Children, (the four little girls in the church bombing,) M. Evers, E. Till. So many others. These trials make a statement that says "WE DO NOT CONSIDER anyone outside a very narrow definition ...Expand for more
