Andrew's Story
Life
After graduation I went off to school in Iowa with thoughts of becoming an architect. After 2 years I realized that it wasn't for me and gave it up. I got married in 1995 to a wonderful exchange student from Norway who was graduating from the university at the time and that next year we moved around a lot in Iowa and Illinois (even down in Texas for a while) before deciding to move to Norway in 1996.
I started to learn the language and in 1997 got involved with managing an American franchise that was going to open over here. After a few years of living the DINK life I decided to make a change and go ...Expand for more
back to school to study IT (in Norwegian!?!?) at a private college in Oslo. In 2003 I received my Bachelor of Information Technology dagree and am now working as an interaction designer and software test engineer.
Love it here! Reminds me a bit of Colorado or the pacific northwest (only colder and darker). Just can't get enough of the snowboarding, mountain biking, kiting, camping, hiking, traveling in Europe.
Bought and remodeled a condo in Oslo in 1998, sold it in the spring of 2005. Built a house by the fjord a couple hours south of Oslo and in 2006 expanded our family with the birth of our son, Marcus.
