Andrew's Story
Life
Life is good. I'm kind of like a phoenix risen from the ashes. Things got very bad before they got very good. I have two steady jobs. I make great money, have the car I dreamed about for three years, live in a great condo, and am going on four years in a relationship. Materialistically, I've got almost everything I want. And I also have success, people who love me, and a long life of learning ahead of me.
School
Ah, school. For those of you who remember, I was the kid who everyone picked on. Even the other nerds and outcasts picked on me. And so I had, what absolutely had to be, the worst attendance record in history. Nevertheless, I went on with my life after I flopped at high school. I got my GED, went to a trade school and now I'm a licensed practicing esthetician. Oh, and I had one of the best attendance records...Expand for more
of anyone in class. :-)
College
College wasn't for me.
Workplace
Wow, I've been all over the place as far as work goes. It took me a long while to finally decide to become an esthetician. Before I got that point, I worked at places like Frank's Nursery and Crafts, the Gap, a Volvo dealership, two salons as a receptionist, and quite possibly the worst, an assistant at the Wal Mart Portrait Studio.
My second receptionist position put me where I am today. From there I started my own cleaning business. Yes, I'm a housekeeper on some days and nights. Don't laugh 'til you've seen my paycheck. In the meantime I went to schol for 10 months, graduated, passed my state board licensing exam, and now I work at a spa. Long story short.
Military
Military? Let's just say, I'm not the kind of guy the military is looking for.
