Life I graduated from Davis High School in June 1972. At the University of Houston, I pursued a major in journalism and dropped out in 1975. The same year I obtained employment as a warrant officer for the City of Houston. I attained the rank of sergeant in 1981 and the rank of lieutenant in 1997. I retired from the Houston Police Department in February of 2005 with a 90% pension. I have been married twice and have one son from my second marriage; single since 1986.
