Hello Everyone: After Santa Maria Union High, attended Allan Hancock and acquired A.A.degree. Accepted to Peace Corp Program heading for Guinea, West Africa. Extensive training in New York, Montreal, Canada and Brattleboro, Vermont to be a Rural Engineer. However, I could not master the conversational French language skills requirement for the project. While awaiting another assignment, found out I would be drafted into the military and decided to enlist in the U.S. Army. Spent 2.8 years in Karlsruhe, Germany with the 78th Combat Engineers in maintenance. Was able to see France, Austria, Switzerland,Italy and Germany. I did my duty and enjoyed it! After returning from Europe I acquired an undergraduate degree from California State Polytechnic University - San Luis Obispo. I also completed work on an MBA, but promotions and raising children became greater priorities. I have two children - Brent is a Lt.Col in the Air Force - Pilot - now in McGuire AFB New Jersey.
