Life
Greetings from Rev. Parkey. My wife Holly, and daughter Claire, and I live in Burke County N.C., where I pastor Quaker Meadows Presbyterian Church (founded in 1774), and teach at the local college. Claire keeps us very busy having fun in the mountains at places like Banner Elk, Asheville, and Lake Lure. Virginia--so I spend a great deal of time working with various outreach organizations to help minister to economic, health, and quality of life needs folks face here. I still golf regularly, and enjoy the mountains and Mountain culture here. But, my greatest joys have been in raising Claire and becoming a Minister.
