Andrew's Story

Life We've been in Colorado since 1996, first for 20+ years in Denver and then to the little mountain town of Durango in 2020.. I've got three great kids, all living in Denver, and was married for the second time in July 2007. I enjoy running, skiing, hiking, cycling, rafting and just about anything outdoors. My oldest daughter, Kelsey, is attending Georgia State University. My son, Dan, plays football and attends Cherry Creek High School. My youngest, Aleene, loves performing arts- signing and dancing; last summer she performed at Disneyland. My beautiful wife, Maggie, is an extraordinary executive leadership coach and runs her own business, Verite Coaching and Consulting. Academics, I also own a coaching business and teach college in an online environment. College I lived with Dick Quinn and his caffeine-laced Morning Thunder tea for a year at Clemson. That was an education. I graduated in 1981 with a degree in Management. Then I received an MBA in Marketing from Emory in May 1983 . Workplace I spent about 14 years working for ad agencies in Atlanta, then as a director of marketing for a restaurant company. In 1996 I was offered a job running the marketing for a luxury hotel company in Denver and we took off west. It's been a great transition for us as we love the mountains and the slightly smaller town. Now I am VP Marketing for an education company- a small company offering online high school education.
