Andrew's Story

After a fantastic year at LAHS in 1970-71 as a foreign exchange student, I returned to Australia becoming firstly a lawyer and then a Member of Parliament in Sydney for nineteen years. In 2007 I stepped back from active politics and now concentrate on my writing. In August, my biography of one of Australia's founding fathers, William Charles Wentworth was published. adult sons and stay in regular contact with my American host family, the Krollpfeiffers. For relaxation, I like to spend a day out on my 75 year old wooden cruiser. Having recently been diagnosed with inoperable prostate cancer, I find that a day out on my boat writing is the perfect way to de-stress. Health permitting, I am looking forward to attending the Class of '71 reunion in 2011.
