Andrew's Story
I guess I can say that I really lost touch after graduating from Jackson...I went to college in Florida (Go Gators) then I spent 5 years as a Paratrooper in the U.S. Army. I have a wonderful 17 year old son (Brandon) who was born in 1992. In 1995 I became the GM of a Hotel in Montego Bay jamaica for two challenging years then Moved back to NYC in 1997. I then moved to Orlando Florida in 2000 and became a sales manager for Wyndham resorts. I then did transfer from orlando to Las Vegas Nevada in 2007 and that is where I am now residing.
My years at Jackson 1981-85 was fantastic and it's amazing that it's been that long since we graduated. Being on the football team for three years also brings back many memories...I miss everyone dearly. I have seen and done quite a bit since the high school years and I truly look forward to catching up with everyone. I felt a bit bad that there are many people that I had to do a double take to remember but it's coming back now....from my years at P.S. 147 Queens to Junior high at I.S. 238 Queens....some of my Jackson classmates attended school with me from the mid 70's like michael Reynolds and John newton who attended P.S. 147....yeah I remember you guys!

I always wanted to be a Pilot when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
My favorite way to relax is to go running. I live by the mountains and it's like my second home.
I CANNOT say what the wildest thing I did in school!!!!
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have orginization, motivation, and enthusiam to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
I do not have a "hero" my inspiration comes from everything that I have seen in my life.
I am from NYC but I have lived in California-Germany-Middle East-Florida and now reside in Las Vegas nevada.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Andrea Gentles, because it's been ages since i have seen her.
I love my New York Jets and Florida Gators Football...I love football and physical fitness.
I am surprised at the many places i have visited and the many things (some good some bad) that I have seen in my life....Expand for more
I have a wonderful 17 year old son who lives with his mom in florida...he spends the summers with me. I have learned to be very patient.
There is a teacher I would like to see but I cannot recall his name...I cannot even find my yearbook!
If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to family, then spend the rest on myself, close freinds and charity.
Lived in a dorm in college (Florida) it was fun but got nuts at times...it was fun because you met people from all over the country (and world) I never did pledge.
I am in the process of possibly relocating again...then I will meet a woman and settle down.
My current age is 41. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old. I was so completely wrong.
I was a Sgt in the Army...I was a GM of a hotel at age 26 I have been a leader. I have not yet accomplished my goals....far from it.
My first crush in High School? wow we lost touch at the end of 1982.
My best friend would tell you I'm funny, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as too serious.
I dress well...not like 20 years ago..I have a nice up to date wardrode...I wear polo but I tend to be a bit different from others.
LOL cannot tell the weirdest job I ever had!
I share my home with myself, which I find boring at times.
I have many trophies and medals.
What would i do over? Thats for only me to know.
In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by working hard.
my oldest freind is probably michael reynolds (class of 85)...we met in queens at around 1974 but we lost touch. My next closest freind is don who I met in 1978 in Hollis queens...we went to junior high together and he went to Francis Lewis high..we are still in contact even though I am in Vegas and he is in Atlanta...we just think alike.
I guess they would be surprised that I am probably in better shape now at age 41 than when I was 17 and at 17 I was in good shape!
My first job was at texaco gas station, where I got paid peanuts to pump gas. What I remember most about it is was that is sucked.
in 1978 in queens...being part of one o the biggest egg fights in ne wyork city on halloween 1978....over a hundred people involved.
