More about Andy:"My friend posted an article on processed meats using sodium nitirite, which got me thinking about what we eat. I am a foodie and eat all "foods". One of my favorite (sick) jokes is, "Why do French people eat snails? - Because if they can't make love to it, then they eat it!" Unless you have a source of a wide variety of fresh foods (including a cow in the garden and snails from the guy next door), the food we get needs to be preserved from rotting, by salting, canning, freezing, drying, mummifying, citric acid, other chemicals, etc. Eat a diverse and balanced diet including whole grains and veges, including anything that walks or crawls, as close to nature as possible. We were made that way. Honor the source of our nutrition. I grow and preserve some of my own food that I grow in my garden or buy from farmer's market. I only know a few people who only eat processed foods, who dont know how to cook, and who always eat the same things - those people are more likely to get cancer, regardless if it includes processed red meat. hereditary plays a big role in cancer too. Overdose on carrots will probably give you cancer too.".
