Rob Mango and I are fraternity brothers and friends. He is someone I have admired all my life due to his continued excellence in the arts and long distance running. I am sure there are still stories about my exploits at the

My son Justin helping me spread Dad's ashes at the U of I. Every time that the University of Illinois has a home game, Dad will be there.

Here I am spreading Dad's ashes in the end zone at memorial stadium (University of Illinois) where he played end and fullback. He was fullback on the 1947 Rose Bowl Champions vs. UCLA. Yes, I have his Rose Bowl ring.
Retired as a colonel in the army. Decorated with a bronz star in WW2 for bravery in the Pacific theater.
