Well after graduating I took it easy for a few months and then went back to Oxon Hill HS but not as a student but as a substitute teacher for that school year. Being on the other side of the desk was an experience I won't ever forget. I really enjoyed it. I also meant my wife Lynn through meeting her sister Karen in one of the classes. In 1974 I went off on my Harley Panhead with a good friend of mine Joe Underwood. We traveled through 11 states. Something I will never forget. Later in 1974 I finally was accepted in the Operating Engineers, working on the start of Metro. Was on the work train that laid the first 1/4 mile rail in US. From overhead to underground. Worked through the first phase. In1975 married Lynn Baker after dating for only 3 months. (Lynn was in our 1972 graduating class also)Moved to south Carolina in 1976. In 1978 our first son Jason and then in 1980 our second son Jeremy and in 2005 our first of 3 grandchildren. In July 1979 my life was changed forever in the best thing that I ever did to ask Jesus into my life. You know it is never to late, allow him to make a difference in your life, your family's life and your friends. We will then all have a greater reunion oneday in heaven with our Lord. In 1978 I started working in the fire service. I did this for 17 years in 3 different departments. I received my real estate license in 1989 and worked on my days office full time until 1994 when i left the fire service. still riding...Expand for more
