Andy's Story
After graduating from Middletown High, I moved to Baltimore, MD where I attended UMBC and completed my B.A. in English and Creative Writing. After graduating, I married Carmen Chancellor and moved to New Orleans, LA where I attended Tulane University and completed an M.A. in English. After living and teaching community college English in New Orleans for several years, Carmen and I moved to New Oxford, PA after the birth of our daughter, Garland, in 1995. In 2001, we relocated to Los Angeles, CA, where our son, Clayton, was born in 2003.
We currently live in one of the canyons of the Santa Monica Mountains in West Los Angeles where Carmen works from her home studio as an artist and Reiki healer. Garland attends a performing arts middle school where she is a member ...Expand for more
of the Theater Arts Program and Clayton attends kindergarten, where he is majoring in all things Transformers and Scooby Doo! I currently teach Composition, Literature and Creative Writing at Woodbury University in Burbank,CA, where I am Coordinator of the Academic Writing Program. I have also released a number of CDs as a solo artist and as a member of The Reversibles, and I am currently working on a Skeptics' reunion CD with the original members of the band (see classmate, Dennis Crolley and Stephen Blickenstaff from T.J. High). I presently have songs featured in several films, both with The Reversibles and The Skeptics, including Basilisk Films' Shakespeare's Richard III, staring David Carradine and Dany Trejo.
Hope to see you all in October of 08 for the big 25!
