One of Andy's favorite quotes is:""Live for today, 'cause tomorrow never comes!" "Where all the white women at?" "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here, this is the war room!" "The vast majority of Liberals or Progressives or whatever they're calling themselves this week, are self-centered, narcissistic, self-absorbed people, who try to control minorities, by keeping them mired in the swamp that is government aid, all the while, calling people who try to free them from this oppression, racists. The rest of them are just evil."". Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, started that organization for the explicit purpose of, "exterminating the Negro race, as well as all other undesirables." Over 70% of Planned Parenthood facilities are located in minority neighborhoods. As of today, over 57,000,000 babies have been MURDERED since Roe vs. Wade. It's the greatest genocide in the history of mankind, killing more people than the next 30 genocides COMBINED. Adolph Hitler was a rookie compared to Planned Parenthood. YOUR tax dollars pay for this EVIL. More about Andy:"You know, the normal stuff. In a nutshell: Grew up in Culver City, CA, met my soulmate when I was 13 in 7th grade, joined the Navy at 17, had various drug problems which led to residing under a bridge for a few months, a few stints in various jails, & being disowned by my family, got my shite together & reunited with my soulmate at 21, had four wonderful kids THEN got married at 25, went to work in the studios as a Grip, moved all over & ended up in Pine Mountain in 2001, met some of my best & dearest friends outside of work up here, was the victim of a hit-&-run in June ...Expand for more
06 which led to internal injuries, a coma, ICU, and a 0% chance of living in Sept 06, learning how to walk again, gaining some of the 60 lbs I lost back again, multiple specialists from Cedars Sinai, UCLA, & some from around the world trying to help me get back to some degree of normalcy, surgery in Sept 08 to remove almost half of my Pancreas which had died during the coma, 9 months of recovery, and finally returning to work almost exactly 3 years after that jerk hit me. Which brings me up to the present, despite what they said, I'm alive, I'm still with my soulmate, I'm watching my children grow into young adults which I am very proud of, I'm back at work doing what I love, and I haven't had a serious attack since the surgery 1 1/2 years ago (knock on wood), all-in-all I'd have to say, life is good. Update: Forced to retire in 2010, due to ongoing Pancreatitis attacks. It's now 2015, and I'm still having attacks on a fairly regular basis. I tend to fight through them, rather than being hospitalized, which is probably a bad idea, but I HATE going to the hospital. Still seeing my GI, in the hopes of one day getting beyond these terrible attacks. Ok, first update since mid 2010, unfortunately, I have made several more trips to the hospital, twice so-far in 2011 (I'm writing this 5/3). Apparently, according to the doctors, my pancreas is slowly dying, which means that I can look forward to many more trips to the hospital in the future, oh boy! Overall though, I have to say that it's better than the alternative! 9/15/11 Update: I am now officially disabled & retired from Local 80, so I am a FORMER grip. Who would've thought, retired at 44?!? I was in the hospital twice in July, & once in Aug. for 2 weeks. I have scheduled yet another procedure at UCLA in Oct. Hopefully they can do something with the recurring attacks of Pancreatitis, we'll see. If nothing can be done during the ERCP, I will be sent back to the surgeon that cut on me before, at that point, we will start talking about the complete removal of my pancreas and/or a possible transplant. I know next to nothing about the transplanting of a pancreas, other than the waiting list starts at two years & goes longer from there. All-in-all, I still beat the odds, and I'm still here with my family, I'm still one of the luckiest S.O.B.s you'll ever meet.". Became a grandfather in July 2015, with the birth of Lilly Devyn Young to my son James, and his wife Kayla. Will become a grandfather again in October, when my 2nd granddaughter will be born to my daughter Heather.
