Life My Marriage: Lisa Patlan (Class of 90) and I were married Nov'03 and we honeymooned in San Francisco (very beautiful city). We thought about moving to the west coast, Northern California, but decided not to. My Pets: We have dogs: The oldest, Cowboy, had been having seizures that last two years of his life. Nov '04, he had a seizure that he never recovered from and we had to put him to sleep. Lisa and I adopted him from the Humane Society when he was 3 months old and had him only for a short four years. We miss him dearly. Three months after we adopted Cowboy, I found this stray little dog on Castroville road in front of the old Gabriel's Studio. I kept her and named her Dallas. She had to undergo surgery and now has a limp WHEN she walks. I am stressing "when" because she hardly stops running. She is three months younger than Cowboy and she turns out to be a wire-haired Jack Russell Terrier, one of the most active dogs EVER! The third and last dog, Gemini, is another stray that I found. I actually almost ran over him as I was turning onto my block. He weighed 1.8 lbs and fit in the palm of my hand. Now, he weighs over 16 lbs and is bigger than Dallas. Update short story version: picked up strays, my son wanted 1, others went to the pound. My son, Steve, named her Chasey because she's always chasing him. Left for work, came back 5 weeks later, and she's already bigger than Dallas and Gemini. Our Kids: Lisa and I have a son named Steve. He was born on 18Nov'03.
