Angela's Story
Life
If I had to write my own life's biography, I guess I would have to start by saying, "God's been good to me." I have been abundantly blessed with the husband of my youth; 3 funny, loving, and often unruly kids; and a life striving to remain focused and centered in Christ. I am not at all where I thought I would be. Those plans changed the very day I had my first born. I am, though, in another place, a good place, and I thank God for His leading and guidance. But, rather than reaching a destination, I am however still on the journey. I have much yet to do, to see, to experience, to complete. I have also joined the legions of parents who have bumper stickers that read "My child and my money go to XYZ University". This is really a different place for us. I miss him dearly, my son with the quick wit and sharp intelligence. Like a mother duck missing a duckling, I have to remember he is no longer behind me in line with the other 2. We are to raise them up to move them out of the nest, but it is strange having to push them out when all your life you have worked to keep them safe and secure at home. But as the Word tells us, this too shall pass. He is in good hands.
(And no, I dont really get around by bicycle, I just thought it was a silly question, deserving of a silly answer.)
