Bonita High was one if not my favorite High School... I had challenges living in the Juvenile System award of the court and living at David and Margret's girls home I had teachers and staff who gave me many chances which I was grateful... I was a mess yet wanted to try and sometimes I had sidetrack moments he he he ..... I was a "Punk Rocker" and "Goth Punk" also I loved Boy George for ALL his interesting philosophy on life and love and it reflected in his music ... I dressed like him, made my own colorful outfits and did my make up every morning like his .... It gave me something to do that I enjoyed instead of being depressed and angry... I was a ward of court since 13 and now was 16... No family,just the court appointed homes. I was alone and sometimes felt it deeply , with no sense of real friends and a social wreck .... I feel today , after 30 yrs can look back and be grateful God gave me that alternative life for a reason to hide and heal from the experience today and know its just a part of how we survive ... As I reflect back it gave me a chance to hide, yet be me at the same time, be creative and put my energy towards that , I loved the fame I had in La verne and was in the La verne newspaper... people would stop me on the streets ask for my autograph, kids waited at the gate to greet me and I would get and give hugs as pictures were given to me of the "Boy" himself , pins, articles, magazines , posters and wow ! When I got kicked out of Bonita now this was my fall ....Boy's started entering in the game and playing them , so with my family issues I started to get angry and sad .. I'm ok now , no worries ..... So after kicking me out for my behavior so did the girls home and back to Juvy I went, arrrgggg ! LOL! and li...Expand for more
