Hi! I'm on the Twitterverse & am on the Book of Faces...FB under the BMI registered pen-name Veronica Ashe. I wed the love of my life, Tory Troutman, on April 28, 1995. Our latest band is Smoldering Ashes...& we've made 3 releases by that name w/ our 2 CA band-mates thus far. & created several similarly genred videos as well.. I paint,,,play various instruments, design stuff, write poetry, children's stories, compose music, write lyrics, poetry, record audio comedy bits,read & laugh at dorky me and pray. We have traveled around much of these here united states... as starving artists, ventured north to Canada, & after a series of fortunate events, visited one of my bestest friends, Kristine Hvolby in Denmark for two wks, then we spent our last week exploring Wales and London. After 9/11 I quit my job at the Hartford, posted a flyer at OCU offering academic help & was bombarded by a slew of incredibly driven intelligent & warm International University students seeking academic help for themselves and some of their children. We were blessed to meet/befriend/love/learn from these individuals until I could no .longer give to them what help I felt they deserved due ro an unexpected health issue. In 2008, I had 2 serious events occur within the same month that I believe are medically connected. I had been exercising 2 hrs a day, working full-time, doing housework, and tending to/gardening the front and back yards of our first mortgaged home, a 1929 fixer-upper. I began to have difficulty walking. I thought I'd pinched a nerve so I went to chiropractors, acupuncturists, and eventually, to a neurologist. I was immediately admitted into Mercy hospital, given an MRI that showed lesions on my spinal cord, brain stem, optic nerve & brain.
