Hello to all of my classmates. Time goes so fast and it is fun to read the stories of various classmates. After high school I continued on to study physics and now work in the lab doing fundamental physics experiments. During college I tore a ligament in my knee and started riding a bicycle for therapy. That quickly lead to racing and in 1992 I qualified to compete in the Olympic Trials for women's sprint cycling. At 32 years old I was not a serious contender but it sure was fun to qualify and compete. In the early 90's my husband and I learned to fly airplanes and flew competition aerobatics for a number of years. Somewhere in there we both began riding motorcycle trials. That soon expanded to include a couple of Ducatis for fun road rides. I've always been an outdoor girl and still try to do things that get me outside although as I have aged I've tended to exchange rugged and sparten adventures for those with a more leisurely pace and that end with a hearty meal.
