Angela's Story

Life After graduation, I attended Memphis State for a couple years and started working at the University's Legal Clinic as a secretary. I moved to Seattle, Washington in 1982 and worked as a legal secretary while attending paralegal school, until 1988 when I transferred to my firm's Washington, DC office where I took a position as a paralegal. I got married in 1990, moved to Philadelphia, then to Los Angeles in 1991. I went back to school full time and earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology in '93. e my husband was a law professor. I went back to school again to begin working on my Master's Degree. Left Howard in '97 and went to work for a private firm. Hated it! Divorced in '99, and started working at GWU same year and remain Administrative Manager for the legal department here at GW. So that's my story in 200 words more or less. A New Chapter Ok Classmates! It's March 2016, and I'm headed back to the Memphis area! Yep, to stay! Moving back to take care of Mom. Just closed on my new home in Olive Branch, and will be moving in the first week of April.
