Angela's Story
Life
I have been out of the military now for nearly two wonderful years. My family and I are now living in Gainesville, Georgia. I am a Cytologist Supervisor working for an independent lab. We all love it here!! We are only 30 minutes from the mountains and it's VERY country here. Also...we have an extremely cute new addition to our family.....my baby Nicholas who is now nearly 9 months old....such a big boy!! Once I figure out how, I'll add new photos.

tion of my training I went to Walter Reed AMC in Washington DC to complete my On the Job Training. Once I graduated and became an official Lab Tech I then went on to Landstuhl, Germany....my first duty station. I spent three years there with my family. From there I went back to Ft Sam Houston to go through more training (Cytology School). It was a specialized school for the Cytology field....that took a year. Once I completed that training and after many CLEP tests I received a Bachelor's degree plus my ASCP certification. I then went on to Ft Bragg, North Carolina...and from there to where I am currently which is Baghdad, Iraq...3 more months to go!!!!!!!!
