In high school I was a math and science geek, and tended to be on the more quiet and shy side. I did enjoy the few friendships that I had and made the attempt to stay in touch with those friends from Merced and Atwater when my family moved to Reno, NV. I won't take you through all the ins and outs of 25 plus years of life. Other than to say I have a plethora of experiences, good and bad and all of that may turn up as reference material for the books I hope to pen some day, this is not the time nor the place though. Recently, I was able to reconnect on a more tangible level with Mike Grattan who has been very dear to me since we were 15. We had been keeping a respectful distance since we began exchanging emails in 2001, as we were both married and committed to those relationships. That changed this past January, with the uncanny timing of both of our marriages ending. Mike and I exchanged cell phone numbers and started talking on a regular basis. We both were tentative about how we felt and given where we were coming from it was only natural to be some what reserved. Through our conversations though we discovered that we have such great chemistry together! Just over the phone!!
