Angela's Story

Life Well, my bio, hmmm......... I'm an outgoing person who will stand up for someone who cannot. In high school I was shy, skinng as a rail, and was not popular. But with all of this I learnt that I enjoy helping people who needed my help so when I graduate I decide to get into health care. These days I work in the field I knew I was going to end up doing, back in high school. Working with people with special needs. Keeping an open mind and learning how to observe people to what they really are saying. Now, I'm happy to have a small group of friends who care about the same things as me and like in high school, are still older then me. I put on a bit of weight and I have to say it looks much better now then in high school. I'm more confidence in myself and I know what I want to do in life. After I finish up in Montreal, I plan to move to T.O to do a three year program to become an sign language interrupter to become a better health care worker and to make a difference in the world we live in. Well...... that's it as my life bio in the present. School In high school my biggest crush was on Luigi. I remember sitting in class when the teacher was teaching and he sat behind me singing an Italian love song. He did that to tease me but I melted that day. I never forgot that day evn through it was in grade 11 that it happen in. I still remember it like it was yesterday. The teacher...Expand for more
that inspired me the most has to be between three teachers. Mr. Carter, was was willing to teach anymore you need help in Math and Science. When I was in grade 9, He was wiling to use what ever time he had to explain the materials and somethings had students from other classes coming to see him for help. He was very interesting. Another teacher was Ms. O'Reliey, in grade 10 made the class go over each area in history book and made us remember details from it. I remember it was alot of work. At the exam she hd a teacher come into our class and read out the question and the different answers, and I remember that I had gotten a 98 percent on the mid-term. Turns out that in the school I had gotten the highest mark. The teacher told me and went around letting other teachers know about what a student in her class did. I was soo proud and I proudly say she had a major influence on me to get into health care to help others myself. The last teacher, Mrs, Myers, I think is is not one that taught me at all. She worked with the prep class. This class was for intellectually impaired students. I use to spend all my lunch hours helping out in the class then sometimes my other teacher would ask who like to help out and I would volunteer my time. I decide in high school that I wanted to work with this group of individuals and I thank Mrs. Myers for letting me help out and giving me a path to follow.
