Angela M.C.'s Story

Life Hello, it's me! I guess you're reading this because you're curious what I've been up to since 1986. Wow! Has it been that long already? Time surely is flying by! I went right onto college in New Haven and received a Bachelor of Science majored in Studio Art/Graphic Design, with a double minor in Music and Theater. I stayed in that area of CT a bit longer after graduating; it was the height of the 90's recession. After all that time spent getting a degree, I couldn't find work right away. I moved back to Thomaston for a bit. Later, I moved down to CT's Gold Coast (Fairfield County) to find some freelance work in my field. It's close to NYC so there's a lot more opportunity there. I didn't like living down there much. I prefer small towns and land instead of blacktop. My next big move brought me out-of-state, way up North to the green mountains of Vermont, where I currently reside. I live about 45 mins. to the Canadian border and 1.5 hours to Montreal. I wanted to move to VT since high school and I'm so happy I finally did. It's a beautiful state; there's plenty of land still untouched and the skiing is great. I’'ve lived in the Greater Burlington Area since 1998. If you're ever interesting in heading North contact me. I have don...Expand for more
e quite a lot of traveling since the trips to France and England during high school. I returned from Russia on a short-term, 3-week, mission trip, April 2004. I'’ve been to Canada (Montreal, Ontario, Toronto, and Quebec City etc., where I slept in "The Ice Hotel." That's right, a hotel made of all snow and ice. It was cool but only one night was necessary.), Mexico & Cozemel Island, Jamaica, Grand Caymen Island, Guatemala (2000 & 2002 I had planned to go down for two months as a short-term missions volunteer in Spring 2006 but misplaced my passport so I wasn't able to go back.), Italy (Rome, Assisi, Pisa, Florence & Venice), Ireland, Medjugorje in Bosnia-Herzegovina and visited a Bosnian Refugee Camp there too, as well as different parts of the U.S. It would be great to catch-up and find out what other classmates have been doing since '86! I hope we can all pull off an official Class of '86 Reunion. If anyone is interested, on any level, PLEASE contact me. I have been trying to keep a contact list with addresses and phone numbers for many years now. I still don't have everyone's info. and it's all not as current as I'd like but it's a pretty good starting point. I hope all is well with you and yours! Take Care and Keep In Touch! Angela
