Angela's Story
Angela is originally from Hendersonville, NC. I moved between Hendersonville and Winston-Salem all my life due to my mothers illnesses and parents seperations/divorce. So its hard to say where I grew up. I know the BEST days and memories of my first 21 years were in Hendersonville, especially my three years at HHS. I went from being in the racial war of busing in Winston, (Yea cops & guards) to a school that was so equal in everything. And the best thing of all was my first love or maybe/no I know soul mate Rob Hanke. I went to Blue Ridge Tech for my Associates in Business. And then me and Rob headed west to Reno Nevada. n-Salem. I was married once for 8 years and I have two awesome daughters. Both of them are married now, and I have three amazing granddaughters. I worked for my fathers company (STEPP Electric) for 8 years while having babies so I was able to take them to work with me for their first two years each. After 8 years, at my dad's company, I then went to work for Piedmont Airlines/USAirways for 20 years. When USAir did their umpteenth merger and my job went to AZ, me and four hundred + didn't. I went and got my Pharmacy Technician License and went to work for Eckard's/Rite Aid Pharmacy. My dad had multiple strokes four years ago and so I take care of him now. And if you think I gave you too much info on my life, HA! You have no idea!
