I actually graduated from Chelen High School in Washington State, but since I spent my first three years at San Clemente High School in California, I always emotionally graduated from there. Went on to attend the Dallas Fashion Merchandising College, and had an early career in merchandising management with JCPenney. Left to spend two years abroad - one working in Sydney, Australia, and one backpacking from there to England for nine months, which was a great adventure. Returned to complete college at SMU in Dallas. Have worked too darned hard! Spent 20 years in PR, advertising and marketing, ending up owning a small PR firm in Houston with my former husband.
