Angel's Story
I was with/married to my husband for 20 years when he passed away in 2003.
Three kids, ages 32, 24, and 18. Boy/Girl/Boy
Now two grandchildren! Is that not the most awesome thing?
Oldest on his own and is a wonderful human being; my daughter is taking a "moment to breathe" and raising my grandbabies; and my baby boy is 6'6" and is a gentle giant, like his Dad. I am proud of all of them.
Just starting venturing out of the shell I built for these 20 years. It's scary but exciting too. Somehow I forgot that Life is all about the lessons that we learn from the people that come into our lives. So it's been hard and my heart has already been broken. But I will survive. I am still discovering myself or rather understanding and accepting all that I have known myself to be. Allowing myself to be and learning that it's okay to love who I am...crazy but true!
I made so many mistakes in my life but my hope is that people will remember that I meant well, loved my friends and family and tried to do the right thing.
I always wanted to be a very independent single woman when I grew up. I never imagined having all that I have and so I feel very blessed.
Life is funny. In October 2011, I lost the one man in my life who loved me beyond all reason - my Dad - an event I dreaded my whole life. He was crazy and yes, sometimes the meanest Dad in Alb but he was MY DAD. I miss him so much.
