nges that comes with divorced parents to become an independent thinking individual....certainly more the child of the 60's and 70's than I was. I sometimes wonder if any of my former classmates ruminates about our generation's events and how it has affected us or how we've changed since then. The highlights of my life was cocooned in a career, marriage, and motherhood but I still thought of the seriousness of our experiences as young adults and for some of us our participation outside of our personal lives. I guess what I am saying is that with time on my side, I am trying to retire gracefully. I'm not sure how successful I will be, however. Any other retirees out there still stuck in trying to be productive and relevant?
