Angelique's Story
Life
We still live in Lemoore CA, Eric and I have been married for 19 years (Jan 03 2009 made), Kayla is now 14 and Matthew is 9. We plan on retiring by October 2010 or so...either way we hope to be moving in a few years to TN and prayerfully we will sell this house and not loose money during this mortgage pitfall. My last year for doing child day care is almost up then its all over and I can start being a victim's advocate and put my Bachelor's degree to good use.
School
My biggest crush, gave me my first kiss. The teacher that inspired me the most was Mrs. Mary Brown. I would do somethings differently but not all of them just a few.
College
I have my bachelors for criminal justice...I did the military thing, the at home mother thing, and now I am an accredited home day care provider with 8+ years experience, I have a love for children and being a Sunday school teacher and music director for those children is a plus.
Military
Boot camp was really hard, I enjoyed my time in; Desert Shield /Storm was scary but I ...Expand for more
survived it, I think I am a more thankful person because of it...we only lost one person out of my unit and that was because of medical reasons. My time in the service was very beneficial, I learned that everyday I wake-up to thank the good Lord above, that really those little things that make us angry are nothing and that forgiveness really does go a long way. To be Christ-like is a life long process and none of us are perfect, we each make errors in judgement but we all deserve another chance otherwise Christ came for nothing and we must be worth something otherwise he would not have come, he gave us more than we deserve he gave us his love. The truth is this either God is God all the time or he isn't. If we love one another as Christ loved us we can accomplish much, fighting one another does nothing and for this cause I give my all to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.
Class memory
I hope that the class of 87 remembers me as a person that cared and that despite all that transpired I was a good friend til the end.
