Charlotte's Story
Hi, I'm Charlotte Ward, formerly, Charlotte Angelo... one of a set of twins. My sister is Grace, perhaps
better known as "Babe."
If you remember me/us at all it would be because of Babe since she was A LOT MORE outgoing than I was in those days! We used to hang in "Freitags" with a fun group of kids whose name, sadly, I can hardly remember any more.
My husband, Alan, and I live in Waddington, New York, a very small town at the top of the state on the St. Lawrence River (directly across from Canada). We met in 1972 and 8 months later, May of '73, we were married.
Alan was raised in Northern New York and it was his dream to buy land there (wanted lots of elbow room) and so, in 1975, we did just that. We moved to Waddington two years after purchasing our property, in the summer of 1977, just about 3 weeks before our son, Paul Michael was born -- 19 months after his sister, Kelly Ann -- and we've been here ever since.
After getting their degrees at St. Lawrence University, both of my amazing kids left the small town setting to reside in bigger cities. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and my kids have definitely become "citified."

ton and teaches gifted children in beautiful Seattle, WA where I visit her often!
Paul lived and worked in Washington, D.C. for about 7 years. He graduated from Navy Officer Candidate School two years ago and is currently a Leutenent JG, stationed in Hawaii!
My twin sister, Babe, recently moved up to the North Country and lives right around the corner from me! She has 4 wonderful sons and 5 grandchildren! Our younger sister, Vivian, lives about 5 miles up the road from me. She joined me in the North Country about 5 years after I settled here... Alan and I introduced her to a great guy and she, like me, married 8 moths later. Viv and Terry are blessed with two beautiful daughters!
I work in the English Department at St. Lawrence University. Retirement is starting to look really good to me so I'm thinking of one more year then I will concentrate more on doing the things I love... art, gardening, photography, to name just a few.
Maybe you remember me or should I say "us" - how could anyone forget Babe! If so, get in touch!
Best Wishes,
Charlotte
P.S. This is a photo of me and my Love Bird, Winston! I'll have to find a photo of Babe and I to post (something more recognizable).
